Hi

Yes clrearly I'm happy!
The car was tune to run 1,0 of boost.
But I'm really afraid with fuel pump . I think I need a return line, a fuel regulator and buffer tank to run safely , hu?
Because in case of fuel missing...
So actually I run only at 0,6 bar to be sure. If understand : The fuel pump pressurize the fuel @4,0 bar. We have to remove 1 bar for atmospheric pressure. And 0,6 for boost. Left only 2,4 bar for fuel pressure. And only 2 bar if boost at 1,0. This seems too little to run on track. But need to confirm.

Actually I'm removing Bauer stuff too.
Internal are changed by the Bas***, I paid for a "stuff II" Actually I've drive about 2500km, I think the k20 is ok but...
The clutch is giving his first sign of weakness. Obviously the Bas*** probably mount an F1.
I'm also afraid of what was done to the gear box (I will send to you an MP)

Actually I'm trying to remove the piping. You can't imagine what was done! The Bauer welded steinless steel with steel. Different size of pipe. My friend a professional welder had never see that on his life. Absolut amateur!

The bas*** way of work

My friend way of work
This is only a moke up, he will weld the whole thing later

Today I was at nurb!
The very first exit since the Bas*** destroyed my car.
The car does not output 420Hp for sure, but its clearly enough for track.

I will not be available for the meeting Reisbrennen, but if you know about an another near Trier, that could be good!!

Cologn os not too far, why not.
But what about NOS?
I plan to go during end of august

NOS sounds good too, though I am a little afraid to drive my car there. Just send me a pn and I will check if I can come around.

The piping of my car looked pretty simular to yours. So now you know why he paints everything in black, so you dont see his work at first sight. If you paid for stage II you definately have new pistons with a 9,0:1 compression ratio which is good for more boost if you like more power. Stage II also includes a better Bosch fuel pump that is quite good if it is installed properly (in my case a seal was not inserted correctly so that the fuel pressure dropped significantly under high demand). It is installed in a small buffer tank so you always have fuel even when turning. It should also have a return line which keeps the buffer tank full. So all you need to do there is to check if everything is mounted properly. I still use the Bosch fuel pump with 500+ HP and it works fine. In my case no fuel pressure regulator needed to be installed and as I said the fuel rail is just fine for even more than 400HP.

If your clutch already has problems by now you will need to repace it. If money permits I would highly recommend to also install a LSD, in my case I chose a quaife diff. In power regions above 300HP it really makes a difference as grip is getting your biggest problem. I am very happy with it. It helps to reduce grip problems and I hope that together will my new gears (1st gear is up to 96km/h, 2nd up to 135km/h) most of the grip problems are gone. In spring next year I will also go for wider wheels on the front (235) and that is it then. I do not what to regulate the boost by gear as I think you can also regulate boost with your right foot (with a little training). ;D

A bit long to answer.

NOS was a good moment. I need to stop at 4th lap because of a bold's WG lost resulting in a exhaust sound :)

Now I understand why he paints everything in black. Because he doesnt knoe weld and he used everything he's finding to weld different sorts of metal!!!
I^ve check compression and it seems i'm runing 9:1 compression pistons. The cars runs previsoulsy at 0.9bar so i'm sure it can handle.
I will check if the fuel pump is a bosch and if it is fit correctly.

I need to test again my clutch but for sure it seems not to last 10.000km more.
I actually own a LSD, a quaife (I hope this os a quaife) and for sure this is mandatory.
But the direction really comes strange. I really need to hang the circle with 2 hands! The cars goes left and rught or one side very quiclky. Hard to explain

I run 0.6bar on 3-4-5-6 bur only 0.4 on 1st and 2nd. It is a good deal and really easy to tune with a mac solenoid!

I will share picture of my 60mm piping when ended!

See you

When the LSD works it is normal that the steering wheel should be held with both hands. I run 1.1bar in all gear, no problem too. I control boost with the foot. ;D

With a compression ratio of 9:1 you can really handle a lot more of boost than you presently drive but I like your way of working to start with lower boost and then increase it if you what more power.

I think boost control with right feet is a good way to well known the car!
I will try ;)

Tkank you.
I really need to be sure everything is right before higher the boost
First I removed every rubbish mister Baier put it in
Second I need to find and fit all new parts
Third need to tune it. Not a fine tuning, a road tuning to be able to drive @ 0,6
Need to run, test it and be sure internals (I remember this was done by mister the baier) is fine
Finally after I'm sure gasoline feeding is right, I will do a fine tuning and a 0,8 or maybe 1,0 tuning, on a dyno.
Probably TT!

Furethemore I need to learn to drive. I mean, the car becomes insanely fast. And roads got always the same size :)
290whp (maybe 330bhp) is really fast in normal condition. Just enough for track day.
This is like to own an all new car. Really I need to learn it again! ;)

Just to inform people.

One thing I only discover now is : Ralf is removing the oem oil pressure instead of implement it on oil flange.
Resulting in no alert in case oil pressure default...

Think about it people

Oh I forget to mention.

Because mister Ralf Baier use an old sandwich plate for the oil cooler (Probably an another piece from an audi rs2 like the oil cooler, the bov or whatever he puts on my k20)
And because the oil sandwich plate ain't got anything to pick the oil feeding, it seems he use the original oil pressure point to feed the oil for the turbo
Resulting a dangerous missing red alert in case of oil leakage etc...

I actually do not drive anymore the car. I'm really afraid of internal.
Clutch seems dead with 4000km at the odometer. Clutch shake the car and seems weak after 2 laps at NOS

Resulting I let this winter the car to a professional. He will open the motor and will check everything. He will find a way to protect the engine bay from heat. It is absolutely impossible to let the system this way.
Bearing will be changed, valve seat will be checked and changed if needed etc etc
In fact everything that should be done but Ralf Baier was not able to.

And finally I will have a complete "audit" or dignostic of my motor.

For sure I will share any information

Because as far I can read on FB, people find normal the way Ralf Baier is working. Soo strange! :)
