The car is near finished, I've started the engine with a real base map. After months the k20 start perfectly. That was long because like you know I need to change oil cooler, WG, exhaust manifold, exhaust, full hose for air, oil, water etc.. Every used part, including turbo comes from an old audi. Even the BOV comes from an audi! A poor BOV, probably the same used in a 1,9tdi Finally I've done it without any knowledge I know lot of things have to be done but this will probably be next year Hose, gauge etc are provisional. Will be probably replaced by zeitronix Sone pics if the stuff the washed manifold and the washed injectors Some protections. Not really usefull in my mind... The new exhaust manifold. Turbotoy's manifold are really more beautifull and probably best tailored but.. The new turbo, the new DP The real downpipe, no more welded, with a real flange With this one I can put an AFR, o2 sensor or whatever The DP and the WG The piping. The whole piping will be made brand new with inox, welded under formier gaz etc... This is a real piece of shit Preparing the new vacuum hose, new water cooler too (tegiwa) Spark plug. Don't know if they are the good one for this motor 7G 11KS. Do they fit for a turboed k20??? Inside. The end. Need to find a place for vacuum manifold and solenoid. I now have a real solenoid, that can be for teh boost control. Not a switch previously used And finally the full 3" exhaust to replace the previous piece of shit Compared with the stock exhaust Next step is mapping. (maybe) I've check compression (cold) and need to check warm. Hope I will be able to drive it after near 18 month after my enormous mistake My lawyer is waiting new about the novice See you 2x bearbeitet |

Time for a meet when it runs. Just by the way, teh BOV is from an Audi S3. It is a good not too loud BOV and still mounted on my setup. The homepage of BHT also tells about the BOV, the HKS BOV is optional, but without TUV because it is really loud. And beleave me, a loud BOV can really be a mess. |

The car was tune on the road (on a closed safety road for plane) The car drives perfectly with his brand new map. Perfectly smooth, enough torque but not to much, high power at high rev Aint got any dyno chart at the moment. The cars output probably 300bhp@8,5 psi in fact this is as much as previous setup/map @13,5 psi !!! This map My new map is a full tuned one , 0-10-20-30°, composite and VTEC The car was tune to run 14,5 psi. This is to compare to the map tune (?) by mister the bas*** with the VTC switch of (probably because he his unable to tune it and . I remember when he explain the car jump and and as a result he cant provide a dyno chart) What I can say so summarize is : Ok quality is very very poor, now everybody knows it. Even a poor owner of a very beautifull FN2 Finally, near everything was change outside the engine but injector, kn filter and bov I need to change the piping, probably this month. The kkk k24 7200 i too little to reach 400bhp, really too little. With a try at 1,2 bar (17psi) we saw the turbo is not able to handle the boost after 7000 rpm CAN YOU PLEASE CONFIRM OR GIVE ME MORE INFORMATION PLEASE?? I've learn something. I can drive safely (if the inside motor is good, actually I dont know what is inside and how is was done) I can put 0,6 bar (8,5psi) with my OEM fuel ramp. But if I want more boost , OEM fuel ramp is not enough. I need something to be sure I will always have enough fuel and a return line or something. Can you give me more information please?? Which stage had the turbo kit your ordered from the Bauer? Do you still have stock internals in your engine? If not you can boost up without being afraid, mine is running at 1.1bar. The original fuel rail ran in my car with 420HP without any problem. Morely for optical reasons I changed it now for a K-tuned fuel rail. This week was my cars new birthday as Turbotoy uninstalled the last part of the Bauer. Bauer told me that I have a competition clutch stage 5, now it shows that is most propably was a F1 clutch stage 2 (yet to be confirmed) which is one third of the price for the competition clutch. The reason why I needed to change the clutch was that the Bauer clutch was unable to handle the power and fell apart. But as the transmission is just open I decided to do a complete rebuild with new gear ratio (Mfactory), final drive(OEM), carbon synchros(Synchrotech), clutch and flywheel (competition clutch). So after this problem I have a Bauer-free car that should run fine. I still hope to one day have the opportunity to see you and your car, maybe at Reisbrennen in mid of august? The biggest asian car meeting in europe in Oschersleben. Maybe we could meet near Cologne if you plan to go there. Otherwise a meeting near Trier with german Autobahn would also be nice! |
